36. The secretary of the discipline committee must ensure that the hearing begins within a reasonable time. Except in special circumstances, the hearing must begin within 180 days after notification of the complaint.
At least 3 clear days before the hearing, the secretary of the discipline committee must notify a notice, in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25.01), to the respondent or the respondent’s attorney, as the case may be, of the date and place of the hearing.
